CHINYERE
is a hamburg-based sound design student. Growing up, he was surrounded by Igbo traditional music from his father’s side and alternative rock and a lot of Daft Punk from his mother’s side. He has a big heart for gqom, sghubu, and uthayela, especially enjoying rough, noisy sounds with heavy basslines and percussion. In his sets, he mixes these subgenres with african electronic music, UK garage, and breaks to create a precessional dynamic.

WAHSABI
is what happens when Southeast Asian flavors are fused with hard-hitting bass. Under the moniker of DJ WAH (B3CKI) and DJ SABI (madeofchina), this dynamic duo brings a unique twist to the decks, mixing UK Bass, Drum ‚n Bass, Bass Beton, Indobounce, Jersey Club, Baile Funk, with a handful of Indonesian shenanigans. Just like their name—a playful pun on the Indonesian words „wah“ (wow) and slang „sabi“ (can do), with a nod to the heat of Japanese wasabi—Wahsabi always ignites the dancefloor.
