Dear Participant, after careful observation, you have been selected for the Quick Fix- Menschwerdung Workshop, a lecture by Hermann. Your attendance is required. Not showing up may lead to re-evaluation or reclassification.

HERMANN’s stated aim is simple: to help you become a fully compliant human being, someone who can move through this world without attracting unnecessary attention. Since you were, not too long ago, in a different state of being, it is understandable that the details of human life still cause certain… complications.

During the workshop, HERMANN will guide you through clear and practical steps to support your final stages of transformation. The lecture includes diagrams, behavioural instructions, and illustrative case studies—all designed to make everyday human interaction slightly less overwhelming.

HERMANN looks forward to your presence and is eager to help you. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact us via mail (hermann.intake@gmail.com) or instagram (@enter_hermann).

HERMANN is an emerging collective founded by sound/music designer and composer David Knap, video designer and scenographer Charlie Smeets, and director Joelina Spiess. The three met at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam, where they graduated together in 2024. On this project they collaborate with performer and maker Fran Vozila and scenographer Hülya Braasch.

David, Charlie and Joelina have collaborated regularly on projects at the intersection of theatre, installation, and performance. Their focus lies on the darker sides of human nature—death, destructive relationships, psychological disorders—approached with what they call “violent honesty”: a blend of emotional directness, ironic distance, and dark humor. Their aim is to generate a high-energy, collective theatrical experience that makes audiences feel deeply by confronting the absurdity of being human. They draw inspiration from Yorgos Lanthimos, Peter Handke, and SIGNA.
